Untitled Document Victorian Antique Jacquard Loom Wool Paisley Striped Shawl Curtain Panels This lot of 6 Victorian era antique jacquard loom wool paisley striped shawl curtain panels date from the late 19th century. They are made of jacquard hand loomed woven wool done in strong bright vivid vibrant colors of red, green, orange, turquoise blue, black and white with a colorful striped floral leaf, boteh tear drop shape paisley pattern design. This paisley shawl had been re-purposed at some point in time, cut into 6 drapery curtain panels with rod pockets sewn along the top for hanging, seamed side edgings, green selvage multicolor fringed border bottom trim and are not backed or lined. Each of the 6 matching paisley panels measure 56 inches long and 19 inches wide. They are in good as-is condition, have not been cleaned with a few faint small stains and have several small frays, rips, holes (see close-ups). Great for upcycling. This is truly a wonderful lot of antique Victoriana jacquard loomed paisley textile art! Items are described as accurately as possible, sold as found, possibly having some imperfections and flaws.
